I decided to go with white grout since we used dark gray on the floors and I'm going to put up wallpaper. I didn't want it to be too busy. As you can see, I've decided to go with the Oh Joy Petal Pusher pattern in gold. Right now, I have a chandelier original to the house hanging in the window. I haven't decided if she is staying. I may go with something more streamlined....yet to be determined.
Yes I know, front loaders are more attractive and cooler looking than top loaders but I've lived with two different brands of front loaders for many years and all I can say is....I hate them! They stink and they make your clothes stink. I usually pick form over function but in this case, nothing beats fresh smelling, clean clothes.
Now all that is left, is a final coat of paint on the walls and hanging the wallpaper.
One last thought is to do a Dorothy Draper style black and white door with chalkboard paint where we can leave cute messages but I can't decided if that will just be too much in the room. I think we all agree it already has a lot going on for such a small space.
Door similar to this:
Girlfriend! Get outta town! It looks amazing. I'd be honored to do laundry in that room.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! My bathroom is jealous of your laundry room.
ReplyDeletethis room is turning out fabulous, I love it. I can't wait to see that wallpaper up.

ReplyDeleteLooking good, Brandi! I'm not showing this to my laundry room, it has low self esteem as it is. Wallpaper is divine!

Your laundry room is a true room whereas mine is a glorified closet. So jealous. Love everything! Oh, and my front loader doesn't stink - at least I don't think so. Please let me know if my clothes stink!
