CRAZY WEEK RECAP AND DINING ROOM DILEMMA

Apologies for the lack of posting last week.  I was busy with client meetings, Halloween and then a massive yard sale on Saturday.  Can I just tell you how glad I am to have that yard sale behind me!  It is liberating to know all that "stuff" is no longer lurking in the corners of my closets or the boxes of my attic.  What didn't sell was donated to Goodwill within an hour of the sale closing.  Of course, all that hard work was to make room for more Gogo inventory.  My attic may not stay open and spacious for long but at least it will be filled with cool pieces just waiting for their new home.  The next Gogo sale is scheduled for February so I will be busy between now and then hunting for the perfect modern vintage pieces.

Enough of that.....my latest personal design dilemma is dining room chairs.  Remember the ones I had:

Yes well, I did what I always do....I sold them to a client.  So now I'm on the hunt for new dining chairs.  I've always loved Verner Panton's S back chair so it is a contender.

I also love the look of a Chippendale. Both looks are very different so I may leave it up to fate and see if the perfect chair falls out of the sky.

  1. I'm all for the panton chairs! I have the chippendale rattan ones and they are not comfy! I'm actually thinking of selling them.

  2. Apples and oranges. I love the look of both, but as someone who had a bad experience with the Chinese Chippendale faux bamboo chairs, I'm with Charmaine and might opt for the Panton chair. They are so cool. I want some too.

  4. I love the Panton chairs and the Chinese Chippendale too! Such a dilemma. I'd also like the know the fabric you used on the dining chairs you sold. It's kinda fun!

  5. One nice thing about the Pantons is that they can be used outside as well as in...Flexibility? Either would look great!
