Outdoor Snoozefest

Why is it so hard to find cool, modern outdoor furniture in big box stores like Lowes, Home Depot or Target where you can see it, touch it, sit in it, etc.....? Instead, you can only find the cool stuff online. I can find Tuscan/French Country wrought iron sets that make me want to throw-up all day long. I mean seriously people! Can't someone think outside the box for just a minute?

I guess Nashville is lucky enough to have a West Elm so not all is lost but we really need a CB2, DWR, Room and Board, Crate and Barrel....any of those will do. Obviously, I'm having a moment.

I really, really, really want this table....I mean I think I do. I can only see it online and not in a store!!

This set is very cool but is it comfortable...I don't know, I can't test it out.

These just make me laugh. Very over the top but a lot of FUN!

Where can I find this set? Who knows but probably can't afford it.

Furniture that glows for Pete's sake:

In the end, I'm really just mad at myself for not purchasing the 1960s spun fiberglass set from the Flea Market a few weeks ago....STUPID, STUPID, STUPID

  1. It is very frustrating. My outdoor furniture is sad, old lady wrought iron furniture that my mother bought for our first house 12 years ago from Mister T's Patio. Summer Classics might have a modern piece or two but typically they're pretty traditional. Does Nouveau Classics (on Belmont) have outdoor furniture or just indoor? So hard. I've actually run across some spun fiberglass pieces on Craigslist before too. You never know.
