Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon pattern is still one of my favorites. While in California, I spied the wallcovering in the entryway of one of the hip boutiques. I seriously need this pattern in my life I just can't decide if it will be wallpaper or fabric. I would love to get this fabric vinyalized (is that a word???) for use outdoors. I've heard of companies that can turn any fabric into outdoor type vinyls/oilclothes but I don't know a specific one. If you guys know of a resource, please let me know.
Here's a link to an article about making your own oilcloth, and there's a link in there to fabric laminators. They can turn any fabric into a wipeable fabric like oilcloth that would be great for outdoors or kitchens, but I don't know if it is UV protected like outdoor fabrics are, so you might still get fading.
