This weekend I went to an estate sale and purchased a pair of brass and crystal candle holders with a marble base. They were filthy but after a good polishing, I think they look fabulous. They are very Hollywood Glam which I think every home needs but in small dramatic doses.
Many people ask, exactly what is Hollywood Regency style. Designer Jonathan
Adler defines Hollywood Regency as follows...
"I define
Hollywood Regency as Neo-classical lines mixed with Hollywood glamour and a top
note of mod moxie." Hollywood Regency was a style of architecture and
decoration popular in the 60s in Los Angeles that was a revival of classical regency
style through a modern lens. Hollywood Regency added a layer of pattern and
decoration and opulence and glamour to the minimalism of mid-century
modernism.
This is exactly what I've tried to do in my own home, mix pattern, decoration, opulence and glamour with mid-century modern. Here are a few pieces and design elements of my home that are examples of the Hollywood Regency influence.

Your home is soooooo unique! You have a way of mixing things together that most people would never think of. But it works so well. I am always impressed with your finds and amazed at the end product. Keep up the good work and spread the glam.

Love me some Hollywood Regency and have major lucite lust going on here. I truly need some stools like that!
